STATE OF FLORIDA FIREARMS PURCHASE POLICY
Age: Twenty-one (21) years old or older and you have a valid State of Florida Driver’s License or State of Florida Identification card. Review the Florida non-resident firearms purchase policy here.
You must certify that you are a U.S Citizen or authorized U.S. Permanent Resident with a current and valid USCIS ID Card (Green Card). This complies with US Government State Department ITAR regulations. Or hold a U.S Government Issued Work Visa and provide us with a copy of your Florida Hunter Safety Certificate and a Florida Hunting license (long guns only, no handguns can be purchased).
You must also certify that you are NOT a restricted Individual Under Federal Title 18, United States Code 922(g)(1)-(9), (n) and you must certify that you are NOT A Restricted Individual Under Florida State Statute.
Florida Law Prohibits Persons Who:·
Are adjudicated delinquent of a crime that would have been a felony if committed by an adult until the age of 24 or until record is expunged.·
Receive “Adjudication Withheld” on any felony or on a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence and three years has not yet lapsed since the completion of sentencing provisions.·
Were recently arrested for a potentially disqualifying crime which has not been dismissed or disposed of in court.
ADDITIONAL FIREARMS SALES POLICY
All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF rules, but state and local laws may differ and you will need to check your local laws before purchasing a firearm.
All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special-order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special-order items.
For all used firearms, the seller provides all descriptions for used items. All descriptions for used items are honest and based on actual items being offered for sale. Items being sold in this manner will be marked as such. All sales on used items are final and without any warranty. Photos will be provided when available. All machine guns are considered used unless otherwise noted.
It is unlawful, and punishable by imprisonment and fine, for any adult to store or leave a firearm in any place within the reach or easy access of a minor.
RETURNS POLICY
ALL ONLINE AND IN STORE SALES OF FIREARMS, AMMUNITION, ARCHERY BOWS, BOWFISHING BOWS, CROSSBOWS, ARCHERY ARROWS, ARCHERY ACCESSORIES, OPTICS, PERSONAL CLOTHING, EYE PROTECTION AND EAR PROTECTION AND SECURITY & GUN SAFES ARE FINAL. NO REFUND, NO EXCHANGE AND NO RETURNS ACCEPTED FOR ANY REASON.
CANCELLED ORDERS BEFORE FULFILLMENT POLICY
If any order or a partial order is cancelled by a customer, after purchase and full payment (in store or online), and before the order is fulfilled by the retail store or one of our warehouses, the customer will incur a fee of 6% for credit card processing fees. This 6% cancellation fee of the total purchase price that is being refunded, will be deducted from the customer's final refund amount. THIS PROVISION IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.
RMA PROCESS POLICY
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 10 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, at our sole discretion, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, less 25% restocking fee, based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee in addition to the 25% restocking fee (totaling 40%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.
NOTE: If you are denied the purchase of a firearm by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the 25% restocking fee will apply to your purchase. THIS PROVISION IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.
NO RETURN POLICY
We do not permit the return of any of the following products
• Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
• Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed, opened and/or used after receipt.
• Products sold as “open box”, “factory second”, “scratch and dents, and/or ”clearance” items.
• Firearms, new or used, once paid in full online or in store, regardless if it is transferred to you or not.
• Ammunition, for any reason.
• Any firearms accessories opened and worn by the customer, e.g. shooting glasses, ear protection, clothing, etc.
• Archery bows, bowfishing bows, crossbows, archery arrows, archery accessories and archery bow cases.
• Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics and night vision equipment.
• Security Safes: Business, Home, Gun and Vehicle Safes, and Gun locks.
• Security or Gun safe delivery and setup fees.
RETURNS SHIPPING FEE POLICY
We will not reimburse you for shipping fees for returns to our retail store for any reason. We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either ensure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping. The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.
Other items available for sale, not listed on this website, include discontinued parts or parts for firearms no longer produced. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding parts for firearms no longer produced (such as Vietnam era upper receiver units, obsolete fire control parts, etc.).

PRODUCT WARRANTY POLICY
All defective merchandise must be returned to the factory or an authorized service center. All products are warranty by their respective manufacturers. It is the customer’s responsibility to seek warranty information and request warranty repair or replacement directly through the Product Manufacturer.
In most cases, the Manufacturer’s Warranty is not valid until the customer registers the product as the owner directly with the Manufacturer. Please see the Product Manufacturers user manual for further information or contact the Manufacturer’s Technical Support directly through their website.
Lakota Trading Post does not:
• Does not register your product that you purchase, in your behalf, with the manufacturer to activate the manufacturer’s warranty. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to do so.
• Provide or accept any products for warranty returns or repairs.
• Accept from the customer and ship any product sold, in behalf of the customer, to the Manufacturer for warranty repairs or replacement.
• Does not provide any and all repair work or modifications for any products sold.
